The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) and the National Assembly (NASS) held a 4-day management retreat at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, to promote inter-institutional synergy for enhanced legislative performance.
Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambawal, emphasized the shared vision and responsibility of NASC and NASS as the engine room of the legislature. He highlighted the critical importance of collaboration and cooperation between the two institutions to enhance the effectiveness of the nation’s legislative process.
Tambawal encouraged participants to engage in insightful deliberations, collaborative brainstorming sessions, and critical assessments of inter-institutional collaboration, strengths, weaknesses, and bottlenecks. He urged them to equip themselves with shared vision and knowledge to tackle evolving challenges and enhance service delivery.
