National Assembly Commission Laid 11 Billion Permanent Site Project.

 

National Assembly Service Commission Chairman, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE said the new office accommodation for the commision will solve the over two decades accommodation problems witnessed by the commission over the decades.

He made this revelation during the foundation laying ceremony, stated that the over 11Billion naira project is expected to be completed in two years.

The NASC Chairman commended the 9th Assembly for the political will that led to the commencement the of the project with an initial fund of 3 Billion Naira.

He described the occasion as historic and epoch making event,coming at a time the 5th National Assembly commission, under his watch.

Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE urged the National Assembly to also consider the balance of 10 Billion Naira required to complete the project in the 2022 budget,so as to enable it’s commissioning within the time line.

He reassured the National Assembly of the capacity of the company in project execution overtime,saying it will go along way to solve lingering accommodation problems.

He said the project initial cost of 2.5 Billion in 2010 was reviewed inline with the prevailing market situations and introduction of new items into the project.
