Concern Legislative aides of the National Assembly,has appeal to the new Ag Clerk to the National Assembly,Mr Ojo Amos Olatunde not to rescind it’s decisions to offset the allowances of Legislative aides as promised this August.
A statement issued on behalf of the body by Muraina Alade,says the Legislative aides has suffered untold hardships during the tenure of the immediate past Clerk to the National Assembly,Sani Ataaba Omolori.
He says the best way to glorify his current ascension and leadership is to stick to his words and promises,by paying the aides Duty Travel Allowances (DTA),of the current 9th Senate since inception in June last year, including the first 28 days and others as at when due.
Muraina stressed the need to take the welfare of the National Assembly workers and aides very seriously,to avoid a repeat of the previous developement.
He congratualted the Clerk to the National Assembly and other appointees,urging them to demonstrate the confidence repose in them.
