NASRDA; Stop Your Campaigns Of Calumny against, CoS to the President , Group Warns Mr Francis you Chizea .

A North Central Group has accussed the former Ag Director General National Space Research And Developement Agency NASRDA, Dr F.D. Chizea of his gimmicks and further blackmail after the appointment of Dr Halilu Ahmed Shaba as the substantive new Director General of the agency.

A statement issued and signed by Bar Liasu Mohammed says dragging the President’s Chief of Staff, Ambassador Ibrahim Gambari into an appointment that followed due process and ratified by the President and National Assembly is a desperate tendencies and smear campaign against Nigeria leadership.

He says the group is very much aware with so many pseudo operation and media advert and campaign directly sponsored by Mr Francis Chizea, against the highest office in the land, the North Central Minority interest group is also aware of various secret meeting being held by Mr Francis Chizea that he will resumes as a substantive Director General of NARSDA even without any appointment letter from the president,wondering how that wil happen except if he is up to a sinister move for that he should be place ok Security watch.

‘It is also in the public domain that Dr Halilu Ahmed Shaba was qualified and his appointment and ratification by the Senate was purely on merit and followed due process.’

‘We are not unaware of plans by Dr Chizea to initiate internal crises capable of distracting the new Director General from assumption of duty,as he insisted as the next person before the appointment.’

‘We here by alert Nigerians of plans by the Chizea led caucus to frustrate the assumption of duty of the new DG, so as to drag needless attention of the President and top government officials.’

‘We want him to realise that the position of the Director General and appointment was carried out purely on merit,devoid of any manipulations from any angle,saying the former Ag DG’s intentions to muddle up issues is uncalled for, at this particular point in time.’

‘This is not a political appointment,if the Ag DG wants to assume political office,he is free to resign and join politics in his home state of Delta.’
