NASC/SASC’s Holds Week Long 2021 National Conference In Kaduna.

 

The 8th annual National conference organised by the National Assembly Service Commission NASC inconjunction with State Assemblies Service Commission’s SASC’S has started in Kaduna,Kaduna State Capital.

The five days event which started from 13th, Tuesday-17th,Friday september,2021 with its Theme” Repositioning Assembly Service Commission for Optimum Service Delivery” is holding at Shehu Musa Yar’adua Hall,Murtala Mohammed square in Kaduna..

The yearly National event is expected to attract State Chairmen National and members of states Legislative Service Commission from the 36 States of Nigeria.

Kaduna State Governor,Mallam Nasir El-Rufai declared the four days event opened.

In his opening remarks, National Assembly Service Commission NASC Chairman, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE stressed the need for total independence of the the States Assembly Service Commission for Optimum perfomance in the various states of the country.

Kadi said many states has not only showed interest, but created an enabling environment for State Assembly Service Commission SASC’s to debut,while commending Yobe,Kaduna and lately Kano state for it’s giant strides.

He stressed the need to entrench more powers beyond adminstration to States Assembly Service Commission SASC’s particularly it’s operations and functions.

The Chairman stated that the annual conference was meant to continue to strategize ,orient states on the need to institutionalise and allowed it to function optimally.

He maintained that NASC is irrevocably committed to staff welfare and developement in line with the expectations of optimum service delivery.

In this same vein,to encourage and stimulate perfomance at the commision, promotion arears,staff development was giving high premium.

Accordingly, the fifth commission is doing anything possible to create an enabling environment for staffs developement in all ramifications.

He said the commision as part of it’s achievements in the last few years has secured funds for the construction of it’s permanent office, to curb the problems of accommodation for it’s staffers.

Kadi maintained that staff orientation and orientation was at the top priority of the commision,with the revised ethics of code of conduct expected of the staffers of the commision to ensure a virile perfomance and service delivery.
