NASC PLEDGES TO TACKLE CORRUPTION HEADLONG

The National Assembly Service Commission will do everything within it’s powers to ensure the success of the Federal Government’s anti- corruption war. So says the Executive Chairman of the Commission , Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi while hosting officials of the National Assembly Service Commission’s unit of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) who paid him a courtesy visit.
A delegation of the NASC ACTU led by it’s Chairman, Barrister Festus Ajiboye had called to brief the Chairman on its activities and it’s collaboration with the Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to ensure transparency in the activities of the Commission.
Engr Amshi told the Anti-Corruption watchdog that the Commission would always provide it with all the things it needs to succeed in it’s work.
” It is a great work you people are doing. There is need for sanity and transparency in the system. We will not hesitate to provide you with all the things, materials and the good environment you require to make your work successful “; he promised them
The NASC ACTU was inaugurated about two years ago to help monitor and report sharp practices in the operations of the Commission with the view to eliminating such practices and enthroning transparency.
