NASC Chairman Play Host To Forensic Experts, As CIFIPN Seeks Collaboration With The Commission.

 

The National Assembly Service Commission NASC has promised to partner with professional bodies and forensic experts that will move the public service to enviable heights.

The Executive Chairman of the Commission,Eng Ahmed Kadi Amshi revealed this in a statement when he palyed host to the protem President and members of the Chatered Institute Of Forensic and Investigative Professionals In Nigeria (CIFIPN) on Wednesday in his office ,Utako Abuja led by Dr (Mrs) Ayishetu Victoria Enape to the Commission .

NASC Chairman commended the new body in it’s determination to inculcate forensic template into our national life,that is in line with the best global practices.

He recalled the efforts towards giving the body a legal teeth while at the National Assembly as Chief of staff to the current Senate President,Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan,then Senate Leader of the 8th Senate.

Amshi said his strong belief in the efficacy of the possible migration of our national life to forensic template emboldened his efforts during the incubation days at the National Assembly.

He expressed delight that the collective dreams and efforts has now paid off and gradually it will be inculcated into our day to day affairs after being assented by Nigeria President.

Earlier, The protem President and her team ,Dr Mrs Ayishetu Victoria Yusuf congratulated the NASC Chairman on his appointment,and successes achieved in a short period in office.

‘The purpose of our visit today are:
To appreciate you and congratulate on you the success you have achieved in the commission within the time you have been here and also to let you know that the labour you invested in the 8th Senate to see that CIFIPN Bill is passed is now before Mr. President for assent.’

She also solicited his cooperation and more supports geared towards the President’s assent to the bill to ensure seamles practice in our public life.

‘To seek your unalloyed support, your goodwill and commitment to see that Mr. President assent to the Bill, your support is very key as we are of the firm view that your ability to reach out to relevant authorities will help the speedy assent of the bill by the President.’

She emphasised on the need for collaboration with the commission in the area of training on forensic investigation in line with the new vision of the Commission.

‘To seek for collaboration with your office in the area of training your staffs on Forensic and Investigation training/certification of all trained staffs. Executive Chairman Sir, once this is accepted by you, we shall send our training proposal without further delay.’

She appreciated the audience granted by the NASC Chairman and it’s members,saying this will go along way to encourage the new body into more collaboration.

The protem leaders of the new body was received by NASC Chairman and his commissioners in a special session to mark the visit.
