Participants of National Social Investment Programs N-SIP under the N-Power nation wide has give credence to the transparent and accountable leadership of the Minister of Humanitatian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Developement,Hajiya Sadiya Umar-Farouk since her assumption of duty.
The Participants forum gave the message in a media statement jointly signed by the National co-ordinator and those of 36 states including the FCT,saying her ascension has a great positive effects on the scheme.
According to the President of the forum and secretary Geenral,Dr Okwu Audu James and Comrade Unde Saaembeer Emmanuel vowed to expose dissidents whose efforts is to frustrate the laudable programs of the Minister for N-Power beneficiaries nation wide.
They both says the positive multiplier effects of the program since it was introduced in 2016 with it’s 30,000 stipend,had assisted many Nigerians enrolled to engage in gainful ventures that guarantee self sustenace.
The officials says efforts by some self styled and installed individuals or groups to distract the current initiaves of the Minister, billed to reform the scheme should not be taken serious,but as an avenue to do the needful.
According to the N-Power Forum, these persons “are not beneficiaries as they appear more like hirelings that were recruited with the objective of maligning the government.”
The group reasoned that anyone against the transition plan of the government is only lazy and addicted to freebies.
They both thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and the current Minister of Humanitatian Affairs for taken the interest of the jobless at the front burner of the present administration.
The forum dissociated itself from a purported release issued some few days condemning the decision of the ministry on the transition of Batch A in June and B July,as mere intruders who are paid to infiltrate the patriotic efforts of the Minister, to live a lasting legacies of social safety nets on the sands of time .
They also encourage Nigerians to take advantage of the new policy of enrollment of Batch C ,so as to enable more vulnerable benefit from the social responsibility program of the goverment.
The forum described Mrs Sadiya Umar-Farouk as the best thing to happen to the present generation, in view of her sincerity of purpose, determination to achieve good records,not minding critics and detractors.
