The Deputy National Publicityublicity Secretary of APC Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Akaka, condemn the killings at oganenigu axis of Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Ajaka, expressed deep sadness at the report of the incident and prayed for the repose of the souls of those killed while offering condolences to their families.
In his statement on Sunday 2nd of April 2023, he emphasize of the need for the traditional ruler and the local govt chairman to come together & find a lasting solution to the problem.
There is need for peaceful coexistence in the community he said’
I cannot overlook the killings in Dekina Local government or any other part of kogi state, I cannot do that. I am genuinely worried about the attacks in Oganenigu Ajaka said’
He pleaded with those affected not to retaliate in other not to inflame the problem on ground
Ajaka urge the the chairman of Dekina local government to work closely with Traditional ruler to ensure the perpetrators of this crime is brought to justice
