SDP governorship candidate in Kogi state has promised to rehabilitate children of the poor that is been used as political thugs to pepetrate all forms of political crises and by extension kidnappings when he assumed duty as state governor after the victory in November 11 election.
He also assured them of total amnesty and create meaningful engagements rather than using them to create man made insecurities in Kogi state all in the he name of fositing an unpopular APC candidate, Usman Ododo.
Muri who stated this to Kogi indigenes in Kaduna on Friday while soliciting for their votes and that of their family members at home, said It is unfortunate while some states are facing natural phenomenon of insecurities across the states, Yahaya Bello, the Kogi state governor is busy creating artificial one desperate to win election at all costs, inspite his unpopular stance, leadership and his APC candidate.
“A governor that kept campaigning against violence only in the television and on the pages of newspapers, but indulged in breeding thugs felt short of expectations.”
“We have a government of do as I say ,but not as I do, we have a governor who will tell you good morning, but you have to look at your wrist watch twice, and we also have a governor who will say one thing in the morning and do another in the evening.”
“These are the sad trend we are going to change within a twinkle of an eye when we assumed duty by the grace of God in November”.
“We have our 20B confiscated by the CBN, out of the 50B bailout, we are going to use the money to begin the wholistic reformation of local government administration, primary and Basic Education.”
“You are not unaware that 90% of our
basic and secondary schools in Kogi state are in bad shape, moribund, their success are only on the pages of Television and newspapers, which we are determined to reverse “.
“There is only existence of empty ultra modern and referral hospitals scattered around Kogi , without equipment and staffs, we will reform out health sectors to avoid excusable and sudden deaths prevalent in Kogi , seven years ago.”
When our late former Kogi Governor was alive, Prince Abubakar Audu, whenever he established hospitals he created employment opportunities, like wise schools, but in Kogi the reverse was the case. Teachers are employed fraudulently and payment was outstanding for many months, how do you expect them to survive.
He said, kogites are daily beaten by Governor Yahaya Bello, but he said they must not cry, saying pay back time is November 11, 2023.
Muritala Yakubu Ajaka urged kogites to take their destinies in their own hands, and distance themselves from the gimmicks of Yahaya Bello and his followers, stating that any mistakes to vote Ododo, will not be only Bello’s third term , but even fourth term.
