In what could be described as a proportionate reaction to a breach in agreement, Mohammed Abubakar Audu refused to show up at the APC Guber campaign rally at Ayangba yesterday,THE OBSERVERS TIMES report.
According to sources close to Muhammed, Governor Yahaya Bello had reached out to the late Prince Audu,s family that the Kogi State University will be renamed after late Prince Abubakar Audu on Saturday 9th of November at the University Senate building.
Consequently, members of late Prince Audu,s family mobilized well wishers and friends for the ceremony and they were waiting for when the kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello will call on them to come for the occasion.
Muhammed Audu and his patty waited till about 4.30pm at Ayangba Motel only to get a call that the venue of the signing of the document for the proclamation will be at the rally ground.
Muhammed Audu knowing from antecedent of the Yahaya Bello,s Government suspected that it is a ploy to drag him into the 4+4 mantra.
Muhammed angrily asked his teeming supporters to leave as this was a breach in the earlier agreement reached with the Yahaya Bello,s Government.
They left Ayangba for Abuja at about 5pm on Saturday back to Abuja.
We recall that many people have fallen prey to the antics of Yahaya Bello whose strategy is to use blackmail and intimidation to cajole people into their fold,Muhammed Abubakar Audu has since returned to Abuja.
