Mrs Acheju Salome Abuh

The past few days have been one of the most emotional moment of my life, the burial of Mrs Acheju Salome Abuh weighs heavily on my mind and I think it should weigh heavily on the mind of every human being with conscience.
She died for the struggle to emancipate Kogi state, she died for democracy and she died for our future, we must be strong enough to ensure she does not die in vain. It is our destiny to ensure that justice and progress is derived from her death.
The death of Mrs Abuh is not just the death of an Igala woman, her death is the death of womanhood, and motherhood all over the world, there is something spiritual, and heart rendering about her death, I feel it in my soul and my bones.
To the family of Mrs Abuh we will be by you all the way, her death saddens us but she has gone beyond ordinary mortal to become a symbol of hope and democracy, we understand and feel the loss but we are also mindful of the significance of her death and we live up to it.
Rest on Mrs Acheju Salome Abuh, we shall not rest or waiver until justice is served and we shall recover the stolen mandate.
