One is lost in thoughts, wondering what could have turned such a brilliant Godwin Obaseki into a very stupid person and a snake according to Adams Oshiomhole in less than four years. A man that was the engine room and brain box of Oshiomhole’s success story is now so shallow? Someone must be telling lies!
When a man speaks from two sides of his mouth, that man must be avoided like plague.
Oshiomhole shouldn’t have told all and sundry Godwin Obaseki’s was the brain behind his success as Edo State governor for 8 years. Oshiomhole told us that Godwin Obaseki while working with him, attracted the attention of people within and outside the state.
If I may ask now, what happened to Obaseki’s intelligence in the last four years?
In decent climes, Oshiomhole after the court removed him as National Chairman of APC, he should have resigned from politics as well, for his immaturity and penchant for speaking without thinking.
Has he forgotten all he said about his APC gubernatorial candidate the man of God, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu when he was the candidate of PDP in 2016? Some three and a half years ago? If he has forgotten we have not. We see his feeble apology to Edo people over his character assassination of Ize-Iyamu for what it is, his usual doublespeak.
Oshiomhole daily unveils himself as untrustworthy when one considers his utterances. If he must tender any apology, it should come as plea to God to forgive him, the unbridled use of his tongue to lie and to malign Pastor Ize-Iyamu.
There is a limit to electioneering campaign talk. Truth is sacred and as adults, we must speak truth at all times.
We can play politics, but above it all we should have the fear of God in us. I consistently pray to God, asking for His grace upon our State. May leadership of our State be such that will bring unprecedented peace, stability and development.
