The Deputy Minority Leader of Kogi State House of Assembly and Member Bassa State Constituency, Hon. Sunday Daku, today assured the Student Body of Bassa Nation, National Association of Bassa Students (NABS) of his continued support to their activities. Hon. Daku made this known when he attended the Annual National Convention of the student body in Tawari Town, Kogi Koton-Karfe Local Government. The Honorable Member maintained that, for the Bassa nation to thrive in all endeavors, sound educational attainment is of immense importance.
Similarly, the Deputy Minority Leader urged the student to embrace love and at all times, be good ambassadors of their families and the Bassa nation at large. He further encouraged the students to take their studies seriously and to embrace entrepreneurial skills as white collar job is hard to come by now. The need to learn a skills is very germane as it add spices to your educational pursuit. I admonish you all today, aside your studies to have one skill or the other to help you tomorrow he said.
Equally, the Member appreciated the effort of the paramount traditional ruler, HRH, ALH. Idris Alhassan Yusuf and other stakeholders of the community for creating the enabling environment for the peaceful 2023 NABS convention in Tawari Town. In the entourage of the Honorable Member include; Elder Zachi Huleji Manga (BCDU Presidential Aspirant), Prince Emmanuel Daku, Barr. Samuel Daku, Mr. Huleji Godwin, Comr. Sheneni Kaura (PA to the Assembly Member), Comr. Nyizoma Abel (Fada Abel) and Comr. Jeremiah Kure.
