Meet Nigerian Killed By Iran Missile: Kogi Born Dauda Onoruoiza in Ukrainian Plane Crash

While the world still mourns and form opinions on the controversial Ukrainian plane crash, it has been revealed that one of the passengers was a Nigerian from Kogi State.
Dauda Onoruoiza from the Central Senatorial District of Kogi State worked with Boeing 737 as technical officer in West Africa and he was based in Lagos.
He was reported to be on three months training with the company in Ukraine and attached to the plane Boeing 737-800 to study the mechanical noise and report back as the plane was scheduled for maintenance on Monday 13th January, 2020 in Ukraine.
Like other passengers aboard, Onoruoiza did not make it back.
Ukraine Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko had Wednesday  announced the nationals of all passengers aboard the fated flight in Iran
Mr Prystaiko said on Twitter that the victims included 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, 11 Ukrainians (including all the crew), 10 Swedes, four Afghans and three each from Britain and Germany.
The announcement came hours after Ukraine International Airlines’ flight 752 crashed shortly after take off from Tehran’s international airport in Iran. The Red Crescent and Ukraine government confirmed all the 176 passengers were killed.
