The National Association of Nigerian Students and the All Workers’ Convergence have announced plans to embark on a nationwide protest against the insecurity situation in the country and the poverty rate.
In a statement jointly signed by Andrew Emelieze, National Coordinator for All Workers’ Convergence, and Kowe Odunayo Amos, NANS Zone D Coordinator, the groups called on all students in institutions across the country to prepare to participate in the protest.
The group stated that Nigerians must unite and demand the sacking of President Muhammadu Buhari and his Service Chiefs by passing a vote of no confidence in them.
They condemned how the Buhari-led government has handled the issues of insecurity ravaging the entire country.
