Marwa On Advocacy Visit To Lawan, Blames Insecurity On Drugs

The Chairman, National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has blamed the current insecurity in Nigeria on drug abuse seeks  more needed attention for the agency to enable it discharge it’s responsibility effectively  saying when he took over about two months back, the agency was in comatose.

“Drug is behind the criminality, which is everywhere in Nigeria”, the former military administrator of Lagos said.

“It will not end quickly; unfortunately it is not built into security architecture of Nigera”, he lamented.

Marwa said the visit was advocacy and to seek for the intervention of the lawmakers.
