MARITIME: Dr. Jamoh, Round Peg in Round Hole, Says Kyanet

 
The new Director General of Nigeria Maritime Adminstration and Safety Agency, Dr. Bashir Jamoh has been described as a round Peg in the toun hole.
The Head of Corporate Communications and spokesman of the Agency (NIMASA) Mr. Philip Kyanet stated this on Friday when speaking with Observers times in Lagos.
He said there is no any better choice in this challenging time than Dr Bashir Jamoh to continue the much needed reform and consolidation.
Kyanet said Dr Jamoh is the first to be appointed within the organization since it’s Establishment, saying all past Director Generals were appointed from outside the Agency.
According to him, Dr Jamoh has spent over 27 years in the system and in a better position to lead the administration to achieve its well set mission and goals.
He added that with Dr. Jamoh appointment as the Director General the presidency has put a round peg in a round hole, saying it will spark the necessary reform in the sector.
He commended President Buhari for choosing one of them to lead the agency.
