Manchester United have reportedly bid for Raphael Varane and are targeting Eduardo Camavinga in a £75million double swoop.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are looking to get their transfer business done early, after learning from their failed summer-long pursuit of Jadon Sancho last year.
With a deal for Sancho set to be completed once England’s Euro 2020 campaign is over, the Premier League giants are moving on to other targets – with Varane and Camavinga next on their list.
France star Varane has been identified as the ideal centre-half partner for Harry Maguire, with the France star expected to leave Real Madrid this summer.
And the 28-year-old’s huge experience could be complemented by the exciting youthful potential of 18-year-old midfielder Camavinga, who has emerged as a key player for Rennes over the past two seasons.
United are now making their moves for both players, having bid £50m for Varane and are ready to offer £25m for Camavinga, according to Marca.
