The executive governor of Oyo State Mr. Seyi Makinde who was conspicuously absent during the Peoples Democratic Party Mega rally and campaign in Osun State, and even during the gubernatorial election that was held recently in the state, has reacted to the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the governor-elect of Osun State.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Senator Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the election after he pulled 403, 701 votes to defeat the incumbent governor Oyetola who had 375,027 votes.
Hence, Governor Makinde while reacting to the victory of Senator Adeleke congratulated the governor-elect and the people of Osun State on behalf of the people of Oyo State while stating that he was delighted to have another PDP governor in the southwest geopolitical zone. Governor Makinde further affirmed that the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke is the victory for the people of Osun State.
