Makama Abductions: Kidnappers contact family, demands N20 million ransom

Kidnappers of the former lawmaker representing Igala Mela/Odolu in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Friday Sani Makama have contacted his family, according to the family sources.

The abductors, though, contacted the family from an unknown destination, are demanding for the sum of N20 million for ransom before his release.

 Recall  Sani Makama and six others were kidnapped early Thursday morning from Hilltop Hotel Tunga at Maje, a suburb along Zuba – Lokoja Road in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Family sources hinted that the amount being sought by kidnappers was likely to be for all the victims.

The source who wouldn’t want to be known in the media said: “The family members of the captives are however putting heads together to find a way out.

Kidnapping in Abuja has become a major challenge to the government and security agencies in recent times.
