Maid Caught On CCTV Dipping Child’s Hand In Boiling Water

A maid has been caught on a CCTV camera dipping a baby’s hand in boiling water.

These shocking photos capture the gruesome injuries a toddler suffered after she was allegedly burned by her family’s maid.

The 16-month-old girl needed treatment in hospital for the second-degree burns last week.

Police say her family’s 30-year-old housekeeper repeatedly dunked the child’s hand in boiling water on the stove.

The woman has now been arrested in Singapore.

According to local media, friends told the maid to intentionally hurt the innocent youngster so she could be allowed to go back home to Myanmar, formerly Burma, in southeast Asia.

The tot’s mum Amy Low, 40, reportedly saw CCTV of the alleged act.

Ms Low had left the toddler and her eight-year-old daughter in the housemaid’s care before she and her partner went to work last week.

But the eldest child called her dad to tell him her sister had been severely hurt, it’s said.

The maid initially told the parents the child had accidentally touched a hot cooking pot before she could stop her.

However, despite telling the housekeeper that they trusted her and did not blame her, the parents were stunned when the maid packed her bags and insisted on returning to her employment agency, according to local media.

Reports said that the woman’s agency agreed to take her back and return the money the family paid to cover the housekeeper’s loan.

If charged, the suspect will appear in court in the next few days.

The investigation continues.
