Luxury Over Lives’ in Kogi State as Gov. Ododo Spent N2.2 Billion for Government House, N600 Million for Education and Health.

A recent report has sparked outrage and raised questions about the spending priorities of Kogi State Governor, Ododo. According to documents obtained, the governor has allocated a staggering N2.2 billion in just three months for the remodelling of the Government House, while education and health sectors combined received a mere N600 million.

The lavish spending on the Government House renovation has drawn criticism from various stakeholders, who argue that the funds could have been better utilized to address pressing needs in the state. Education and health sectors, in particular, have been struggling with inadequate infrastructure and resources, leaving many to wonder why the governor has chosen to prioritize the renovation of his official residence.

This blatant display of misplaced priorities has left many questioning the governor’s commitment to the welfare of the people. As the controversy continues to grow, one thing is clear: the people of Kogi State deserve better. It’s time for the governor to explain his actions and prioritize the needs of the people over his own comforts.
