Lockdown: Robbers Drag Mr. Michael Egba To House; In Kubwa Abuja Community Take All Food

Mr. Michael Egba who lives at the PW area of Kubwa, Abuja the Nigerian capital city has been hijacked from the road to his house by some group of men while forcefully robbing all food items in his house.

Egba was hijacked where he went to use the ATM at about 8:00 pm by three men who forced him to his house took away all food items in his house, drove them away in his car together with him.

Narrating the incident, Egba said he was driven to Zuba where the foodstuff was taken out of his car while he was asked to drive his car back home without been hurt by the robbers.

Egba said the robbers collected the sum of N20k he withdrew from Access Bank ATM and foodstuff from his car and asked him to drive his car home without hurting him.

He, however, appealed to the government to make food available, pointing out that many people very hunger in their respective homes and are ready to do anything to survive.

Asked if he recognized any of the robbers, he said, they forced his eyes closed from Kubwa to Zubwa and was only asked to open his eyes when they instructed him to drive his car home.

Asked if he has made a formal complaint to the police authority, he said he will do that as soon as he recovers from what he described as a shock.

He, however, added that there have been rampant cases of robbery in Kubwa and its environs since the coronavirus lockdown began and has appealed to the police authority to step up security coverage in the area to ensure more persons do not fall victims.
