LNG Donates Maternity Centre To University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

 

The Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas LNG Limited has donated a well furnished and equipped maternity centre to University of Abuja Teaching Hospital UATH Gwagwalada.

The event which took place on November 18 was to complement government efforts towards health care provision at the tertiary health institution.

In his speech, The Chief Medical Director, of the Institution, Professor Bissala Ekele commended the multinational for contributing their own quota to the development of the health sector in Nigeria.

He appealed to other multinationals to key into corporate social responsibility CSR of the Liquified Natural Gas LNG Limited, in providing health for all in the country.

He says the demand for both men and equipment in the hospital was basically on the location of the hospital at the heart of the country, stating that donations of all sorts will be highly appreciated.

The Health Minister, Dr Osagie Ekhanire says to achieve Sustainable Development Goals SDGs, Sustainable programs has to be in place like the efforts being put in place by the LNG Limited.

He thanked the multinational for their kind gesture, saying the issue of health is the business of all.
