Light Up Ankpa:Group Commends Dr. Kashim Akor For Lighting Up Ankpa, Other Kogi Communities

The Kogi Concerned Group has commended the Director General of National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Kashim Yunusa Akor, for attracting development projects to Ankpa community.

In a statement issued by the coordinator of the group, Musa Wada, the NPC boss was described as a man with uncommon love, uncommon will and uncommon wisdom.

The group hailed Akor’s recent electrification projects executed for the benefit of people in Ankpa constituency and its environ.

“This project which is indeed of great significance and important to the people. It has the capacity of enhancing the living standards of the people.

We can say unequivocally and with all seriousness that this commendation is very necessary due to the fact that Dr. Akor is not a senator or a member of the house of representatives, that are constitutionally mandated to lobby for constituency projects to benefit their constituents. Because of the love he has for his people, Dr. Akor has used his connections at the federal level to attract these projects for his people.

“We urge the people of Ankpa and its environs, who are the main beneficiaries of this rural electrification projects and show of love by Dr. Akor, encourage him to do more by with their supports by guarding this developmental infrastructure against vandalism.

The people are with you all the way and are excited by your exhibition of this God-given leadership virtues and credentials to the amazements of all. Indeed, by this show of love, a new type of politics is been witnessed by our people who now see politics as a tool for development.

“These projects attracted and executed by you is vividly your demonstrating in clear terms that you are willing to give back to the society what it has given to you.

“These projects have made you the face of the development in the whole of Ankpa and we are urging you to do more.
You are a blessing to the party, the community, the state and the country in general. You have really met the expectation of our people because unlike others before you, you know the basic needs of the people. You have the will, the drive. You have the basic understanding of the needs of your people. The people now see you as their gift to the state, the country and the whole of humanity. Thank you for coming like a comet and leaving through a trail of light.

“We are hoping that that the All Progressive Congress (APC) led by our president, Muhammadu Buhari, would continue to provide developmental projects in this area for you to compliment in line with the manifesto of the party. We commend your support for the APC in this area which has made the party an unbeaten behemoth in this area because the state government led by Governor Yahaya Bello cannot do it alone,” he said.

The Kogi Concerned Group commended Akor for his outstanding performance as the Director General of the National Productivity Centre.
