Leave My Wife For Me: Nasarawa College deputy provost sues ex-commissioner for allegedly snatching his wife

by

Peter Aboki, the Deputy Provost, College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia, Nasarawa State, has dragged a former commissioner for Agriculture and Water Resources, Alanana Otaki, to an Upper Area Court, Lafia, for snatching his wife.
The embattled wife, Felicia Aboki, had also filed a case against her husband seeking dissolution of their 18 years marriage.

Addressing the court on Monday in Lafia, Shikama Shyeltu, Counsel to Mr Aboki, applied that the case brought by the wife be suspended pending the determination on the matter of her alleged extra marital relationship with the former commissioner.
On his part, Mr David Meshi, Counsel to the defendant, said his client was no longer interested in the 18-year-old marriage to the applicant, which was why she decided to seek divorce.

Mr Joseph Agbo, Counsel to the ex-commissioner, argued that his client did not have hands in the marriage crisis between Mr and Mrs Peter Aboki.

After listening to all the parties, Abubakar Lanze, the presiding judge, adjourned the case to Sept. 15 for hearing.

Governor Abdullahi Sule had earlier on Monday sacked all commissioners and other political appointees in his cabinet.
