Former Board member of SURE-P and wife of Senator Kabir Ibrahim Gaya, Hajiya Halima Alfa- Kabir Gaya says the late legal giant,Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim SAN played a prominent roles in her life while on earth.
Barrister Halima Gaya made this statement during the special prayers organized by Al-Habibiyyah Islamic center to honour the late former Minister who died after a brief illness in Abuja.
According to Hajiya Halima Gaya her recent marriage ceremony between her and her heartthrob Senator Kabir Ibrahim Gaya was solemnized with the late sage,by accepting my dowry during the wedding Nikkah.
The wife of the fourth time Senator says this is in addition to being a father and role model in her choosen legal profession and career.
Mrs Gaya maintained that the former mnister laid a solid foundation in her carreer practice of law profession and many other Nigerians in so many areas.
This was confirmed in the sermon of Imam A.A Fuad the chief Imam of Al-Habibiyyah Islamic center Guzape,that confirmed the adoption of many children during his life time.
She says the former Minister’s Humanitatian,selfless and indelible marks on the sands of time will be missed by her and many Nigerians and the current leadership.
‘As the first Northern SAN,the late legal luminary had laid a solid foundation for many Nigerians of Northern extraction to pick a career in law and by extension other profession.’ She said.
She prayed that the late Minister will be rewarded with his good deeds with Aljanatul firdaus here after and the fortitude to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
The APC starlwart says the vacuum left behind will be difficult to recoup in a long time to come,praying to Almighty God to console the entire Nigerians on the painful loss.
