Labour Party boils as Lamidi Apapa said Obi can’t govern Nigeria, dissolves Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council with immediate effect’

The leadership tussle between Julius Abure, the factional chairman of the Labour Party and the incumbent, Mr. Lamidi Apapa took a dramatic turn as the factional chairman “dissolved the Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council with immediate effect’

Apapa who outlined weighty allegations against the National Chairman, Julius Abure, and the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party whom he accused of not follow the laid down procedure in picking the party and cannot be a bona fide member of the body.

The embattled chairman also knocked Mr. Peter Obi for disregarding the Federal High Court order that places a restraining order on Julius Abure from parading itself as National Chairman saying that act by Peter Obi could cause civil unrest.

He said, “Peter Obi is not fit to govern Nigeria for his involvement in the gross disobedience to the FCT high court order as this is an evidence that he will cause civil unrest, and turn Nigeria to a banana republic and lawlessness where rule of law will be a thing of the past. Finally, the National working committee of our party and I hereby dissolve the Obi/Datti Presidential campaign council with immediate effect.”
