Rabiu Kwankwaso, national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed confidence in winning the 2027 presidential election. He stated that the NNPP is ready to take over the presidency, states, and other positions across the country in 2027.
Kwankwaso, who was the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, made this statement during the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina on Saturday. He emphasized that the party is heading towards success in the 2027 general elections.
The former governor of Kano also took a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying it is “already dead” and that the NNPP is the party of the future. He urged Nigerians, especially women and youths, not to be swayed by monetary inducements during the next elections.
Kwankwaso commended the party’s leaders and stakeholders in Katsina State for renovating the secretariat and called on them to redouble their commitment towards the party’s success. The NNPP Chairman in Katsina State, Armaya’u Abdulkadir, also emphasized the need for grassroots sensitization to inform members about the party’s new logo, which symbolizes education for all.
