A member of the Federal House of Representatives,representing Dekina/Bassa federal constituency,Rt Hon. Hassan Abdullahi has commended the people of the area, for their unalloyed support,solidarity during the period of post election litigation and victory at the courts .
The Federal Lawmaker made this statement in a press release and message of encouragement personally signed to the people of the area,promising to kick the ground running aftermath of the unending and distractive litigation .
“I want to in a special way thank you all for your patience and understanding with me, during the arduous period of our legal battles in court and the subsequent victory.
I must let you all know with every sincerity that it was not easy but we give all glory to God for the good reason that He has for making us pass through that path and the lessons we have learnt”.
Hon. Abdullahi assured the people of his constituency that he will not renege in all the electioneering promises made to the people, as well as do more in other areas that will translate the lives of the electorates into meaningful one.
“We are absolutely set to bring unprecedented growth and development to our people within the context of our power and abilities and we shall never relent”.
He promised to do things differently in line with the expectations of the people to ensure even spread of human and infrastructural developement of the area.
According to the federal lawmaker,even though much will be expected from his stint at the current representation,his office will strive to provide basic necessities of life to the people
“It is not possible for us all to benefit individually and collectively all at once, but we will do our very best to use the remaining of our moments to rewrite history and reshape the politics of our constituency for the harmony and greatness of our people”.
He appealed for more support from all sundry and patience to enable his office articulate people oriented programs, that will transform the lives of the people both in job creation,skill acquisition and empowerement.
“I implore you all to be patient as we will work assiduously hard to equitably spread the dividends of these office to our people, both in lawmaking, infrastructural development, employment opportunities and empowerment amongst others”.
