Kogi Youths Mourn Attah Ameh Oboni

A foremost sociopolitical interest group, Kogi Youths Roundtable (KYRT) has sent a message of condolence to the Igala Traditional Council over the demise of the paramount ruler of Igala race, Attah Ameh Oboni II.
In a press statement circulated by the National Publicity of the forum, Comrade Jerry Ochada, it extolled the exemplary leadership roles of the deceased traditional ruler.
According to the statement, “a great Iroko has fallen and it’s a trying moment for the entire Igala race. We are however consoled by the legacies of Attah Ameh Oboni II; his reign was short but it was full of developmental strides.
“As the Chairman of Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers, Attah was a fatherly figure to all Kogites and his love and passion for the unity and development of Kogi state cannot be overemphasized.
“It is indeed a sober moment as we mourn the exit of an extraordinary leader par excellence. Attah left a very big vacuum. We pray his predecessor emulates his professional disposition as it concerns sensitive issues. He will be greatly missed,” it said.
