Kogi West:Appeal Court Ruling, A Murder Of Justice

The judgement of the appeal court holding in Abuja today, which upholds the tribunal ruling declaring Senator Smart Adeyemi as senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District can only be described as a murder of justice.
The judiciary Should be the last hope of the masses but contrary is the case.
The appeal court panel that handled the matter itself proved that the masses can no longer have confidence in our judiciary.
The court which upheld that the seven issues the appellant based his appeal upon were all tenable and admissible.
The panel did not only soak it’s hand in a mess when it also upheld that the grounds for the appeal consented that the tribunal was wrong by dismissing the petition of the petitioner on the ground of over voting and non-compliance with the electoral laws.
It is therefore laughable that the same panel in turn upholds the ruling result that return Smart Adeyemi as Kogi West senator.
Senator Dino Melaye in his response submitted to fate and the will of God when he said “I lost my election petition in the court of Appeal this afternoon. God is always right”.
“He will do a new thing in His own time. There will be a new order and the judgement did not in anyway erase the rigging, bloodletting, Killings and violence that dominated the election”.
“I thank the ever courageous people of Kogi West who truly voted for me. I love you all and God bless you”.
“God be praised forever and my Faith in Him remain constant” he submitted.
