The road network that linked Agirigbon and Ayeh communities in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state have also enjoyed federal presence in road network improvement as facilitates by Senator Dino Melaye.
The road rehabilitation was finally awarded last year December by Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NIBRI) following biddings and tender and the final award. The project was influenced by Senator Dino Melaye in the 2019 appropriation.
Senator Dino Melaye described improved road network as crucial contribution to economic development and growth and bring important social benefits, and it is of vital importance in order to make communities grow and develop. In addition, providing access to employment, social, health and education services makes a road network crucial in fighting against poverty, he said.
The Agirigbon community gathered to pray for the senator, stating emphatically that as he has remembered one of the major challenges faced by the community, God will always remember him for good.
The community however as Napoleon, asked that Senator Dino Melaye should also remember the challenge in the area of power supply which has also lingered for some time now.
