Kogi Tribunal : Usman Ododo Counsel Rejects Witness

by

During the Kogi Tribunal hearing, the counsel for the 2nd respondent rejected a female witness who was prepared to testify about the alleged over voting in the Ododo defense. Senior lawyers had to intervene to calm down the witness. Despite this, Abdulkrim Toib Adeiza, Abdulrahman Malik, and another individual confirmed the concept of over voting to the tribunal, citing inconsistencies in the figures presented by INEC.

They explained that when the number of votes exceeds the accredited figure, it is considered over voting. PA Akubo emphasized the importance of proving the case of over voting, which the witness acknowledged.

The hearing has been adjourned to April 21, 2024, for further proceedings.
