PDP Lead Lawyer,Jibrin Okutepa SAN Seeks For Relocation Of Venue.
In Anticipation of losing at the tribunal by the APC state led goverment of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, PDP star witness was today kidnapped at the venue of Kogi state Governorship election petition tribunal holding in Wuse 2 Abuja, John Baba disclosed this to OBSERVERS TIMES.
According to Baba who is also a strong PDP supporter.
“This followed the approach of the state APC chairman, who few days ago imported thugs and hoodlums into the premises were the Tribunal was sitting, beating PDP witnesses and party supporters mercilessly, in their pools of blood.
The Counsel to Engr Musa Wada and Hon Sam Aro of the PDP led by Jibrin Okutepa SAN,has appealed to the Tribunal to assist in relocating and rejigging the security arrangements of the venue that is already hijacked by unknown hoodlum.
Investigation by OBSERVERS TIMES reveals that Alhaji Yahaya Bello supporters had devised creating uneasy calm at the tribunal,similar experience carried out in Jabi during the 2016 hearing in his first tenure.
The Kogi state governor had engaged carefully arranged securtiy agents and hired hoodlums under the cover of protecting government officials,to discard opposition elements from the venue of tribunal to distract and discourage the witnesses from testifying at the ongoing hearing of the case.
According to the PDP, the current venue is no longer safe for the opposition members,as thugs are being stationed in strategic places around the tribunal in Wuse 2, to chase away through all means necessary by the APC thugs.
