The Social Democratic Party, SDP Gubernatorial candidate in the last election Barrister Natasha Akpoti has condemned that attack on the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Supporters in Abuja by thugs mobilized into the town by the APC.
In her words “ I condemn the attack against PDP by Yahaya Bello’s thugs at the kogi Guber tribunal, urged the youths of Nigeria and kogi in particular to desist from being used as political thugs, you are all children of God and have a chance to succeed in life if they stay the good path”
The thugs who came with the APC state chairman, Abdullahi Bello yesterday attacked PDP supporters and their witness that came to Kogi state election Tribunal sitting at Magistrate Court, Wuse zone 2 yesterday lead to over five people injured.
The attack on opposition by the incumbent governor of Kogi state is common, Natasha Akpoti too wasn’t spared ,
She was attacked by suspected hoodlums on Tuesday while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) organised a meeting for political stakeholders in the state.
The meeting, which was attended by the Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu, as well as INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, held four days to the November 16 governorship election in Kogi, around November 2019.
