Kogi state former Deputy Governor, Hon Simon Achuba mourns Hon Hashim Rimi

The former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba has commiserated with the family of late lawmaker,, Hashim Rimi over the death of their son, Alhaji Hashim Alhassan Rimi.

Elder Achuba, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester, described the late former member of Kogi State House of Assembly, representing Lokoja 1 as a forthright and diligent representative.

He said late Hashim Alhassan Rimi contributed meaningfully at the floor of the House and represented his people well during his time in the state assembly.

The former Deputy Governor said his death was a huge loss not only to his family but to the entire Ward D, Lokoja, the Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and Kogi State in general.

He called on the people to see his death as an act of God, while urging the children and those he left behind to emulate his good deeds.

The former Deputy Governor also prayed God to grant the soul of the late lawmaker eternal rest.

Late Hashim Alhassan Rimi was in Kogi State House of Assembly for the period of 1999 to 2003 .
