Kogi PDP Ticket: Lokoja LGA PDP Delegates Declare Support For Abubakar Ibrahim.

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), governorship aspirant, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim has disclosed that Kogi State currently lacks fundamentals of governance, with people yearning seriously for development, says his mission and vision is geared towards changing the dynamics.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Abubakar Ibrahim, who towers above other PDP aspirant in picking the governorship ticket stated this in Lokoja, said the time for people join hands with him in changing the dynamics is now.
While noting that the task for the desired change might not be easy, Abubakar Ibrahim said he joined the race in his quest to rescue the state from underdevelopment, hunger and poverty.

Abubakar Ibrahim commended the people of Lokoja LGA for their long time support for the PDP, lamented that the news about Kogi State in recent past has not been palatable as far as issues of welfare of the people are concerned, explained that this perception must be corrected for the coming generation, employed all delegates to join hands in changing the narrative.
Abubakar Ibrahim, businessman turned politician stated while  speaking to party executives, delegates and stakeholders of the PDP ahead of the forthcoming governorship primaries of the party scheduled for September, said the journey to change the narratives begins with picking the PDP ticket, begged the delegates to remain resolute, as change would soon come.
Abubakar stated that the payment of State and local government civil servants would be given attention, added that it is the very key to meet family obligations, boost the economy, and in moving the State forward.

According to the PDP aspirant, “I have followed development in Kogi State . I can categorically say that we’re not there yet and I believe posterity would not speak positive about us if we do not make ourselves available to offer purposeful leadership that would move the state forward. Let’s work towards making the state conducive environment for the coming generation ,” he noted.
The Governorship aspirant  explained that he joined the gubernatorial race in order to correct all socio economic ills currently slowing down the progress of Kogi State, charged delegates to join in rescuing the state from total collapse.
If elected the PDP aspirant said he has four thematic areas towards the over all development of Kogi State, stating that he has made adequate preparations to tackle the issues of insecurity in the State, improve on education and health, make agriculture interesting to offer empowerment and revenue earner.
The Governorship hopeful said the payment of workers salaries at all levels will be on first line charge, insisting that salaries and pension would be paid as at when due.
He pledged that through agriculture, there will be creation jobs and creation of wealth, stressing that youths would be adequately empowered under his administration if given the mandate.
“Women would be given their rightful position under our economic development and empowerment programme to allow for wealth creation and wealth generation”, he added.
Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim tasked the delegates on the need to make informed decision, insisting that he is adequately prepared, in all ramifications needed to offer purposeful leadership that would lead to better life for the citizenry.
If elected, the Guber aspirant said in terms of development, empowerment, appointment, the people of Lokoja LGA would not be left behind, urged delegates to vote for him at the party’s forthcoming delegates convention, assured that their support would not be misplaced.
