Kogi Guber hopeful under PDP,Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim has expressed confidence and willingness on the people to truly change political leadership in November,with the show of support and solidarity during the familiarisation tour of the 21 local government areas in the state
A statement issued in Abuja by the media team on behalf of PDP candidate,assured the people of the state that he will deliver the real dividends of democracy with the fear of God and fairness
Alhaji Abubakar congratulated party delegates for reassuring him of their unalloyed support in the party’s primaries in September,and the electorates resolve to exterminate bad leadership in the state
He particularly commended party stakeholders,youths,opinion moulders and followers for the peaceful manner the awareness in the 21 local government was handled, devoid of rancour and needless tendencies
Kogi governorship hopeful urged the electorate to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner, as no meaningful achievement will be realised in an atmosphere characterised by crises and tensed atmosphere
Abubakar Ibrahim Idris said although democracy is the best form of government in the whole continent,but kogi experience and expectation fell far below standard hence the yearning of quick change of leadership realisable under the PDP platform
He said the reception from Kogi east,Central and later in the West is indicative of the desire of the people to embrace good governance at the expense of the current maladminstration
Abubakar announced that palliative measures to cushion and water down the autocratic tendencies of the present adminstration, will be roll out a month after the swearing in of new government in Kogi,to mitigate over three years leadership gap to rehabilitate those citizens that are negatively touched by the present style of leadership in Kogi
He urged the PDP delegates and supporters to match their words with action,as the people of the state are looking up to them as alternative government, that will salvage the over two decades heritage of the state,built by the previous administration
Abubakar Ibrahim thanked the DG of his campaign team,Otunba Clarence Olafemi members of his entourage,all and sundry to show more commitment to the last stage of the divine movement to salvage the state from the doldrums of underdevelopment
