Kogi N80B Loot: AYCF ask EFCC to respect rule of law.

According to Vanguard, the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of persecuting former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, and demanded that the anti-graft agency act with fairness and professionalism.

In a statement signed by its President General, Alhaji Yerima Shettima, the AYCF expressed its displeasure at the alleged harassment of Bello, who is facing corruption charges.

The forum, which represents various groups from the northern region of Nigeria, said it had been watching the developments in Kogi State with caution and patience, but warned that it would not tolerate any injustice or bias.

Shettima stressed the need for the EFCC to respect the rule of law and the rights of individuals to defend themselves against accusations, without any political interference or hidden agenda.
