A mammoth crowd of party supporters and other residents on Monday thronged the Social Democratic Party SDP campaign rally in various communities of Olamaboro, LGA of Kogi state, where the governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Muritala Ajaka , unveiled his plans for the state and canvassed support for his aspiration.
Muri Ajaka , who landed at Imane a popular town in Olamaboro local government was received by Col Babanawa Suleman Rtd , Alhaji SULE ENAPE and other prominent sons and daughters of Olamaboro local government and the host of other party chieftains from both APC and PDP.
The convoy was warmly cheered by residents as it moved through the streets to the venue of the rally, was filled to the brim with enthusiastic party supporters.
Addressing the rally, Muri thanked the people of Olamaboro for the grand reception, promising to deliver dividends of democracy when elected.
Muri also pledged to institute an industrial park in the state, which will provide employment and create skills and wealth for the people.
