The Kogi state chapter of the Dynamic Women in Politics for Change, a group of experienced and very active participants in the politics in Nigeria, has endorsed the candidature of Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for Governor in the coming governorship election in the state  noting that Alhaji Abu Ibro in charge of government House will trigger the needed developmental demand of the ordinary man in Kogi state.
In a statement signed by the State Chairperson of the Dynamic Women in Politics for Change, Mrs R. Joy Audu ; the State Secretary, Mrs Rebecca Kayode and Treasurer, Dr Mrs Ruth Ademu; the group called on well meaning Kogites to sign up for the Abu Ibro  project as the only road to glory for the common man. The group described Abu Ibrahim Idris  as the hope of the ordinary man who through cheer consistency and determination,Abubakar Ibrahim Idris the son of the former governor who has achieved a lot will not be different from his father rather may even do better than his father , have given so much to make life better for the people.
“We believe Alhaji Abubakar Ibro will win PDP primary convincingly, hence we don’t want to waste energy discussing that, because the PDP delegates want good for the state they will do the needful”
‘’The women group affirmed that Abu Ibro  is our man any time any day. His policies, politics and programmes of action as well as sincerity of purpose are what have continued to endear this man to the ordinary of Kogi state since his declaration for the highest seat in the state .  The changes in the political scene are sure sign of better things for the people. Many of those who deserted him in the past are already returning to join in the struggle to liberate Kogi state  from the cabal and there is every reason to believe that the Change has come’’, the group added.
The statement read:
Alhaji Abubakar Ibro is generous, enterprising and loved by the people. He is not a man who will go to the Lugard House  to sleep over the problems of kogites rather, he will be a formidable mouth piece of the ordinary people. Abu Ibro  is not going to the Lugard House to make money for himself, he is self-made and would rather give whatever he derives from the government house  to the common man. We therefore use this medium to call on all sons and daughters, particularly the women to vote massively for Alhaji Abu in the November 3rd general election’’, the group declared.
