Igala Vanguard a socio-political group has uncovered plans by the state government to plant guns in two senators residence from the area,Nicholas Yahaya Ugbane,Alex Usman Kadiri for not supporting the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello
A statement issued by Engineer Lawrence Akpa on behalf of the people of Igala nation warned the state deputy governor,Edward Onoja and his boss,Yahaya Bello to stop harrassing innocent people from the area
Engineer Akpa cautioned the police authority from taken instructions to carry out deadly activities on the people of the state, even though they kept denying and distancing the command from the acts
A serving senator from Dekina local government and top government official and Auditor general local government are responsible for the recent arrest and concluded plans to clamp down on prominent indigenes of the area,spread to the other council’s been supervised by Edward Onoja,the state Deputy Governor
Engineer Akpa also revealed plans to use the military operations started in the state, to meddle into the political activities in the state,to deny the PDP supporters from exercising their franchise
He said the ongoing exercise of kidnap,arrest,abduct and frame up was part of the arrangement to discourage the teeming PDP supporters from coming out to cast their votes in the coming election
He warned the police not to continue in this trend,as any incidence of arrest and kidnap of the prominent individuals from the area, will be link to them and the state government sponsored thugs,in view of the pre-arranged plans to arrest them
