Kogi Guber;I Am In The Race to Win; Abubakar Ibrahim Idris Assure Supporters

Despite the decision of Kogi East Elders Council(KEEC), frontline PDP Governorship aspirant,Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim has assured his supporters and party faithfuls, that he is still much in the race, for November elections to Lugard house .
The governorship hopeful dropped this hint in reaction to the decision of the committee to endorse just three aspirants in a contest been keenly contested by over 50 aspirants He said the committee’s decision felt short of expectations of the people of the area,as it’s role was suppose to be advisory to all the contestants Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim denied his withdrawal from the race been peddled by in some circles and other sections of the area,as mere speculations that cannot stand the taste of time .
The PDP Governorship hopeful task the committee to reconsider its unpopular decisions it had been known for in recent times,saying the welfare and interest of the area,should be the overriding interest of the elders of the committee Alhaji Abubakar said efforts should be redoubled by members of the PDP family and relevant stakeholders, to ensure the victory of the party through popular candidate He promised to leave above board and repose the confidence of the people, and not the unilateral decisions of the committee capable of overheating the polity of the area Abubakar Ibrahim urged his supporters within and outside the state to remain calm and supportive of his ambition, towards the victory of PDP in the November election.
Abubakar Ibrahim said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP have its own timetable and modalities of screening the aspirants as stipulated by the constitution said his campaign team is warming up tp embark on local governments tour to enable him have more interaction with grassroots and party delegates.
