Joseph Erico Kogi Guber aspirant,Dr Joseph Erico has expressed regrets over the negligence of state and federal authorities to divest the huge economic and Agricultural potentials, available in large quantities in Ibaji speaking area Chief Erico dropped this message during a campaign tour of the area to familiarise with party supporters,leaders,stakeholders and delegates of PDP in the next election in November this year Chief Erico carpeted the current administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for abandoning the road project flagged off in the early part of this administration,saying that is the only social and economic responsibility of the government, that will enhance self sustenance of the people .
He said Kogi state and by extension, the federal authorities, were not sincere with the idea of harnessing large deposits of agricultural and particularly the Ibaji oil,promising to address the issue promptly when voted in November Erico wondered why deliberate government policies and programs are targeted against the Ibaji,having produced a deputy governor that is not allowed to function properly in line with the official status ”
