The decision of former Board of Trustees member of PDP, Hajiya Halima Alfa to throw her support behind the APC in Kogi,is not out of place,as her nomadic instincts, is on a replay particularly build up towards November goverrnorship election, in Kogi
Halima Alfa known for her controversial origin from Idah and lately Ankpa, was last seen to have contested keenly for Kogi east senate, under the People’s Democratic Party,PDP in the 2019 general election
She was a board member of former, Sure-P, a social investment program created by former President Good luck Jonathan, were she was indicted over sharp financial impropriety,having made ill gotten wealth and later squandered on her escapades
According to Engineer Lawrence  Akpa,the spokesperson of Igala Vanguard,Hajiya Alfa’s exit from the PDP is a big relieve to the party, having been known to be moving from APC to PDP, and now PDP to APC
Akpa said at a point ,she claimed to be the unlawful wife of Former late Kogi governor,Prince Abubakar Audu,after her failed political sojourn in PDP, but was shoved away from the family during the clamour of ‘Operation Show Your Wife’ launched against  Late Abubakar Audu in 2015 election
Igala Vanguard said Hajiya Halima Alfa is known for her marital and political misfortune,as she could not maintain a robust matrimonial home, persistent political logjam,as anybody that identifies with her,will not thrive in politics or business
‘Her newly found alliance with Kogi APC under Yahaya Bello’s administration, is bone out of her bankruptcy,frustration and lack of political relevance in her immediate communities of Idah and Ankpa, as claimed’ Engineer Akpa reeled out
He said under her membership of the PDP, there was little or any impact felt by the party in the area she claimed to have hail from,politically or otherwise,saying her followers have since took to their heels, owing to her political indecision and predicament
