Ahead of 2019 and the scramble for APC governorship ticket by Governor Yahaya Bello rages,Kogi elites has warned some state governors not to meddle into the affairs of the state in the interest of fair play,justice and good governance the group image maker,Abdulsamad Ahmed said information going round on good authority, revealed how kogi governor had concluded arrangement to mobilise six high profile state governors to endorse his re-election as kog governor in November among them is Lalong of Plateau state and Ganduje of Kano.
The moves muted in Abuja and billed for kogi asserted that it will a great disservice for kogians and humanity if those governors decided to support the on going maladministration in the state It is no longer hidden that going by the body language of the APC leaders at the national level,Bello may not return to kogi by November ,by the resolve to feature another candidate to salvage the party in the state In that regard,the governor had crisscrossed and going round to do anything humanly possible to prevail on the party leadership to allow him to run for a second term It was premised that with the on going high handedness and inability to meet up with the social and economic development of the state,his re-election may be disastrous to the citizens of the state .
Aside conniving with some first time governors of Edo and Ondo to lead a protest against the leadership of the party,the governor had arranged with both the new and returning governors to unseat the National Chairman of APC,Adams Oshiomole Kogi governor has been busy buying and coercing many stakeholders within and outside the state for endorsement to pave way for his re-election in November this year to no avail His latest move according to the group image maker,may also not stand the taste of time,as party leaders expressed reservation on the leadership of the state by the governor
