According to him, Akpoti is a strong and enigma of hope, pointing out that, SDP is women-friendly and encourages women participation in politics.
He added that following the action by the women, the party has decided to wave N10 million nomination fee for the nominee. In her response, Akpoti appreciated the women for their strong belief in her vision, noting that she will consult stakeholders within and outside the state and get back to them. “There are stakeholders in in our state and our nation because what you are about to do is bigger than Kogi. For that there is going to be a lot of consultations which will start from today as much as I appreciate your gesture I cannot give you a response today but will that we are going to meet with our men folks, elders and political science across all political parties beyond SDP,” she concluded.
