KOGI GUBER: PDP Crisis, We will resolve the misunderstanding in amicable way-Barr.Kabir

The Kogi state  PDP has been engulfed in internal crisis since after the primary elections over who is the authentic winner of the primary with Abubakar Ibro laying claim to the uncounted ballot paper, while the party appeal panel has admitted that Senator Dino Melaye got more than 70 votes initially announced by Governor Fintiri.
Barrister Mohammed Kabir Usman a leader of the party in the state and the former national legal adviser to Senator Markafi led caretaker committee this morning said the after primary election crisis is normal and that the party will resolve it in a family way soon, said PDP has internal mechanism, of resolving such issues .
The crisis has been further aggravated by infighting and counter-accusation among leaders of the party in the state, who accused each other of behind the attack that happened at the 1;30 am on 3rd november in lokoja stadium the venue of the primary, while the party said it was Yahaya Bello who orchestrated the attack
However, in a bid to find a lasting solution to the crisis and check the poor performance of the party in subsequent elections in the state,  several leaders of the party in the state, including the governorship candidate of party in the 2019 gubernatorial election, Eng Musa Wada has agreed to reach out to other aspirants in order to have amicable resolution as the machineries are in place to ensure team works in the forthcoming election.
The source further stated that there was a unanimous agreement among the chieftains that there was the need to allow the misunderstanding linger as that may affect the chance of the party in the coming election
Speaking on the plan  in a telephone interview with chat with THE OBSERVERS TIMES  a former legal adviser of the party said it was time all aggrieved leaders forgot the past in order to move the party forward, stressing that he was ready to make sacrifice for peace to reign.
“But the party has to move forward. I am ready to move round and resolve things, it is just some people are aggrieved at what happened  and it is resolvable ” Kabir said.
The former chairman, commission in the state under Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro who spoke with us on anonymity however, dismissed insinuations by some chieftains of the party in the state that, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris a leader of the party in the state was holding  PDP to ransom and that is working with Yahaya Bello, “Who is Yahaya Bello that Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro will be working for? a governor who has not even complete a term? to have a governor for nine years as a stooge? that is not possible” he said
“What they are saying is not true, that is their thinking. Do they have what it take to run a party? When they need something it is Alhaji Ibrahim Idris they run to; there is none of them that has not benefited from him. If the man leaves the party they would know we don’t have a party,” he added.
 
“The people want the party to liberate them, there is no reason why we can’t win election in november if we work together as a team, the people are tired of APC and the same APC is using some people within the party to divide us, because they don’t want Kogites o be liberate, we are for peace and we will do something about it ”. Barrister Kabir Mohammed  said.
Lagos PDP only won a Senate  position seat and a federal House of Representatives seat in 2019 general elections in the state.
